Edwardsville, IL, December 20, 2017- Salem Community High School in Salem, IL will be displaying a brand new digital scorers table at half court this winter with help from the Sports Media Group, (SMG), the sports marketing division of Nevco. The sports marketing partnership allows SMG to sell static and digital inventory spots on behalf of the high school and in return Salem gets a portion of all revenue generated that can be used to fund other programs.

The new SMG scorers table will make a big impact to the Wildcats’ indoor athletics. It measures 10’ wide and includes (2) rear-lit sponsorship panels to endorse local businesses and 50” of digital space allowing Salem Community High School to display sponsors from all over the community.

Sports Media Group (SMG) provides hyper-targeted advertising opportunities in an environment where consumers (fans) are having fun and likely to recall brands they saw while watching an athletic event. All SCHS has to do is connect the table to Wi-Fi weekly, to receive new ads, and SMG takes care of the rest, including prospecting sponsors, negotiating rates and legal documents, and creative development of the ad. By partnering with SMG, Salem Community High School becomes an innovative supporter in the community and the partnership also directly increases their brand engagement with athletes, parents, and fans by being visible for every home game or event held in the gymnasium.

The Wildcats’ scorers table is set to be delivered at the beginning of the year.
