Edwardsville, IL, October 4, 2017 – Collinsville High School (CHS) in Collinsville, IL has upgraded their existing scorers table to a massive 24’ Digital Scorers Table through a partnership with the Sports Media Group (SMG), a sports marketing division of Nevco Sports. CHS and SMG entered into a multi-year sports marketing agreement in which SMG will be responsible for securing sponsors and advertisers on the Kahoks’ behalf, and CHS Athletics will receive long-term benefits by receiving a portion of all advertising revenue sold by SMG over the course of the agreement.

Like most high schools, Athletic Department budgets continue to dwindle and Departments are being tasked with finding creative and incremental revenue sources to maintain programs. As part of SMG’s sports marketing agreement, SMG will assume all facets of sports marketing and the high school’s only requirements are to wheel out the scorers tables for all Varsity events and connect the table to wifi once a week (to receive new ads).

“It’s great to be expanding our long standing relationship with Collinsville High School beyond scoring products into the sports marketing realm. We understand the pressures being put on Athletics today and we’re excited to partner with schools to find incremental revenue sources for their programs,” says Southern Illinois Nevco Sales Consultant Shelly Childerson.

The Kahoks’ new Scorers Table will span a whopping 24’ – two 8’ HD Display Tables will flank an 8’ LED Table. The two 8’ HD Tables will display static sponsor logos, digital ads, and messages for fans while the LED Table is capable of displaying crowd-engaging interactive graphics and become a virtual scoreboard integrating with the Kahoks’ existing Nevco Scoreboards. The 24’ Table creates a hard-to-miss spotlight directly on center-court so businesses and community supporters are guaranteed that their advertising efforts will be seen. There are 4 static, vinyl spots for advertisers who want to have a constant presence in front of the audience, and digital spots are also available that can be used for special promotional purposes to help with branding awareness and drive sales. With both digital and static space available to advertisers, this creates various inventory opportunities for both large and small advertisers.
